We prepared for the Holiday of Sukkos by finishing a new Torah Scroll for the Jerusalem Heritage House in memory of our “lone soldier” Sgt. Max Steinberg, hy’d. Max tragically fell in Gaza during Operation “Protective Edge”.

The Torah Scroll was donated by renowned philanthropist Mr. Ira Rennert and facilitated by my Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Aharon Bina.

In what was a beautiful and incredibly joyous occasion, we welcomed current guests and “lone soldiers” of the House, MASA participants and Community Leaders to participate in the ceremony.
